About Frank Taal
In 1990 Frank Taal started exhibiting work by an artist in the former journalist showcase of Café de Schouw in Rotterdam and since 2010 he has been running his own gallery in Rotterdam, until recently with partner Leo de Bie. Taal represents around 18 artists whose art not only shows in the gallery but also at fairs such as Art Rotterdam and Amsterdam Drawing. The focus of the gallery is on art with a strong image, a strong story (idea) and a high-quality artisanal, technical execution. In 2015 Galerie Frank Taal was chosen as a gallery of the year by fellow gallery owners, the public and a professional jury.
