Jasper van den Ende is a visual artist and photographer whose research-based work interacts with the limits and shortcomings of the photographic medium. The focus is on the interplay between the natural and technological where photography (a natural phenomenon and technological invention itself) is being employed to search for analogies and new insights. His overexposed compositions are reflecting on the use of night lighting in cities; the images reveal what is highlighted in the urban environment.
