Boris Maas
Boris Maas (1995) lives and works in Rotterdam.
Boris Maas interest in developing dreams into objects started just before his bachelor at Design Academy Eindhoven, where he graduated in 2018. He has worked for Olafur Eliasson and MVRDV. Born in 1995, he has experienced many changes in society.
Terrorism became a big player, climate change was more pressing than ever, the world united dramatically, through big media outlets divided groups from one and another.
In this changing world he always questions himself to see truth. He strives to make the concerns of design relevant to society at large. Art and design as a tool or bringing observations into an act. Art does not exist without the act of doing.
His practice engages with broader interest in architectural, spacial, color and senses.
